It is with great excitement that we tell you that Guadalajara will host the Gay Games in 2023!
Considered the LGBTTIQ+ Olympic Games, the Gay Games are also held every four years; They are considered the same categories as the summer games and add bowling, dice throwing, dancing and cheerleading competitions.

As it is the inclusion Olympics, anyone can participate! However, the only requirement is to be over 18 years old.
You should know that for this edition of the Gay Games the venue will be shared with Hong Kong, which will make this competition more special, since it is the first time in its history that it has happened and it fills us with great joy to share this responsibility.
Guadalajara is now part of a forty-year history
Guadalajara joins the select list of cities that have organized the Gay Games, for example, the first edition was held in 1982 in San Francisco, in the United States, did you know?; Since then, metropolises such as Vancouver, New York, Sydney, Paris, among others, have received the multi-sports event.

This year, along with Hong Kong, Guadalajara will make history by being the first city in Mexico and all of Latin America! in organizing the Gay Games, an international event where culture and sport will be present.
A festival of respect, inclusion and diversity in Guadalajara
This sporting event will take place in our city from November 3 to 11 and, from the organizing committee, as well as the authorities of Guadalajara and Jalisco, it is expected to bring together more than 24 thousand people, who will visit us from more than 50 countries . This will be a great opportunity for Guadalajara to demonstrate its most inclusive and diverse side.
